Oda A La Muerte is a group printmaking exhibition exploring the holiday Día de los Muertos—its origins in Mexico as well as its historical and cultural significance in both Mexico and the United States.
Curated by Veronica Solis, the exhibition will showcase work from more than 20 artists—accomplished and emergent—from both sides of the border, who have produced work inspired by their own different conceptions of death, using relief prints on linocut and woodcut techniques.
“Oda a la Muerte” es una celebración, un reencuentro, un puente entre fronteras geográficas celebrando lo común, lo humano desde nuestras formas de expresión como lo es el grabado”
– Veronica Solis, curator
